Virtually colorless, practically odorless oily liquid; insoluble in water, miscible with mineral oils.

 
 
The Dioctyl Phtalate is a widely used plasticizer. Main applications are:

PVC resins, used in inflatable items.

Plastic film, which is used  in crystal flexible film and semi - straight.

Footwear, in soles.

Toys made with PVC, such as balls and inflatable items
